Redchip Ventures LLC is based in Auburn, Alabama. It publishes research for business owners and landowners making expansion, site, and property decisions, and provides advisory services under the Arkvera Grove Partners trade name.
An owner facing a big property decision can find plenty of information. Market reports, listings, data platforms, and community site packets are easier to get than ever, and most of them are accurate. What is harder to find is someone who puts it together and shows what the decision actually turns on.
That is the gap Redchip fills. A report reads the numbers, then the things that usually decide the outcome: utility capacity, incentive terms, zoning, competing supply, and timing. Then it shows which assumptions would change the answer, with the reasoning and the sources in the piece.
The research is free because it is how owners find the work. When a reader needs the same thinking applied to one company, site, or project, that is what Arkvera does.
Who writes it

Dan writes most of the research. He studied cognitive science at Georgetown, where he was a track and field All-American, and did graduate work in computer science and cognitive science at the University of Tennessee before leaving for a startup. He spent about a decade designing enterprise software and algorithms for large companies, including Fortune 200 firms in industrial distribution. He then moved into managing a family office fund and advising operators on capital formation and technology strategy, and now works on industrial development and private-company transactions across the Southeast.
He is the author of AI, IoT & the Intelligent Edge: Building Your Enterprise Tech Strategy (Redchip Ventures, 2020), written before ChatGPT made the subject dinner conversation, and built the AI research system Redchip runs on.
He is the father of two sons, a sprinter who holds the Alabama high school 100-meter record and now runs at Princeton, and a martial arts fighter. He ranks last in the family in both events.
Redchip also publishes operators, developers, engineers, and capital partners who know a market or sector first-hand. Every piece names its author, and contributors are held to the same standard: sourcing, disclosure of any interest in the subject, and a willingness to publish an unwelcome conclusion.
