How it works

1. Send a site or program. Location, acreage, ownership, utilities, zoning, access, and any incentive or readiness program that applies. Whatever you would put in a site packet is enough to start.
2. We read it the way an operator would. What kinds of projects the site suits, what is ready now, and what an operator would need confirmed before choosing it.
3. Sites that fit get featured. When a report or Market Watch entry covers your market or a use your site suits, your site can appear in it, with an accurate account of what it offers.
4. We remember it. When an operator comes to us looking for a site like yours, we will know it exists.

There is no fee to send a site. Submissions do not guarantee coverage, and coverage describes a site accurately, including anything still in progress. Please do not send confidential information without a prior agreement.

What operators look for first

Most site searches narrow quickly, and usually on the same few questions. The sites that move forward answer them early and clearly.

• Utilities. Power capacity and delivery date, water and wastewater capacity, and who pays for extensions.
• Readiness. Clear title, zoning in place, and the studies an operator's engineer will ask for.
• Access. Interstate, rail, and truck routes, and the condition of the last mile.
• Workforce. Who is available within a reasonable drive, and what training support exists.
• Incentives. What is offered, what it requires, and how long approval takes.
